The honorary chief priest of Tendaiji, Jakucho Setouchi is a popular author and has many titles to her name, and her words have comfort and lead people through their lives. In 2007 she was given the title of honorary citizen of Ninohe. The memorial hall of Jakucho can be found in Joboji general branch office. Exhibits include a recreation of her office, her favorite goods, photos and her books from her debut title to her newest book, and also a sermon video screenings from Tendaiji annual festival which attract many fans. In addition, next to the memorial hall there is a Japanese lacquer picture dish exhibition room. Both are admission free so feel free to visit at any time.
